Soooo, After ages of not knowing what to do with layouts and all that jazz I decided to make this, using an image that I made for my college portfolio. I liked it, so I used it :D Well its been a while since I last updated and I apologise for that massively. I've not been well for the last couple of days (although I havent updated in weeks!) I had something wrong with my sinus then about two weeks later I got Labyrinthitus so was in 'dizzy' central for a few days, but got some meds and it sorted me out. Although now I've got a sore throat, annoyingly. Which apparently is normal after getting sinus infections. But its been over a month, and well I ate happy :( Anyhoo, enough about me. I've tried making up for not being here by uploading a funky new 'perfect skin' tutorial. It's amazingly late at the moment, it's actually starting to get light and i'm getting very tired so thats why this short updating blog is small! I'll update tomorrow fully on all the going's on and such but until then I hope you like the new layout :D Nicole. x

I am roughly guessing here when I say that it has been "about ten years" since I updated. Seriously, my ass needs a wooping for the amount of time I have let this pass me by, when infact I haven't got a valid excuse. Oh well, unless you count gaining about 4lbs, re-arranging my bedroom and having a cold-thing as an excuse. Anyway, I have updated. I've added my personal myspace on the page if you feel like adding me, I accept partly anyone to be honest. Facebook is where it is as for main "close" friends and all that jazz. I remember someone telling me that "You know you've made it when... someone jocks you," that made me laugh and I was kind of grateful? Then I went and got jocked, certain person(s) took stylesheets and really got on my nerves with it all, but you know what? You do what you want love, it's ashame that you can't do what I done at the start, began with knowing nothing and working my way up, you obviously need to cheat your way there. If you're happy with that, then go on, do what you got to do. I'd like to be able to tell you some fantastic news, like I've won something or I've found the purpose for that switch that does nothing, but nope. The best news I have so far, from what I can think at this very moment, is that I need to get a phone. The internet likes me when I use it for facebook and perezhilton (yes, I adore him bahaha) but everything else it sort of freaks out, goes completely white (the screen, not the phone, if that where the case i'd obviously call an ambulance for it) and just goes in a mood basically. So after many a years, I need a new one. Hmm, what else? Oh YES I've updated. Did you see? Did you see? You didn't? Go look! It's not much but as you can see I've made a new domain layout featuring the amazing Kristen Stewart. I couldn't decide who to feature in our new look, my brain was saying Kristen Stewart but I kept trying to think of someone else as she is already my myspace default at the moment, but my brain over ruled and here we have it! Also the lyrics to the right hand side are by an amazing band titled "Boys Like Girls", they are uber amazing so you need to check them out, and their amazing song "love drunk", where the lyrics came from. Hmm.. there was also something else. The word is simple, individuality. To be honest, the word didn't mean that much to me before. I never really wanted it, nor did I believe in it. It was only lately, during this whole "site" crap that I realised loads of people where becoming something they said they never would become. Not something nasty like a thief, but someone who would say they wouldn't get sucked in and become something, well simply, they aren't. I've seen a couple of good friends vanish from this site thing because every single site is growing to be the exact same thing. I admit I averted for a small week or so, I tried to see what it was like being one of those "arty farty" sites and you know what? Yes, I did infact get more adds than normal. But noone really replied once they added you. I used to wonder why people sent comments like "I'm not a number," and all that, I knew they weren't and I'd spend ages chatting to random people, some that I'd never speak to again and some that have become good friends of mine. But some sites (a small percentage) seem to get the high counts (and the hilarious ones, who don't get the high counts, act like it) ignore comments, say they'll return things when they don't. Yeah, it might seem small and childish to some people but once they do it to literally hundreds of people, then you can't really disagree with the fact that some people think that we owe them. You would have no idea the amount of people who have told me that they where surprised I replied a simple "hey," or with a tutorial to help them as all sites they had tried ignored them. Sure if you're busy you cannot help, that is understandable. But not every single time that one person asks for your help or for a simple "hey,", its really not that hard. I don't know, it could just be me who thinks it's rude not to reply to people, who feels bad when I forget to comment or mail someone back (so i then rush to reply). Yes, it's internet world, yes it's not technically real. But see you, yes you, behind the screen. You are real, so stop being a tight ass and go comment like a normal person would. Just cos' you have a zillion friends don't really make you that big y'know.

Mood: Gooooooood! Date: April 12th 2010.Listening too: Sugababes - About You Now Sooo, NEW layout. It is completely different from anything I have seen. So please do not jock it, steal it or anything sad like that! Took me quite a while to decide, but now it is here and it's different. I like it. A lot :) New layouts have also been added! Check them out through the menu opposite, also new "about me", check it out? On a personal note I have made "progress" with the whole college thing, I've kind of left. I don't really know what I want from life, well I do but I don't like speaking out about it, jinxing things and all that! But yes, I have applied for a job in town just now and hopefully I will hear back from them *crosses fingers*. While working I can discover what I want to do, what I want to become and then act upon it. Its going to be a good year, I feel it in my bones!!! Mood: Feeling good. Listening too: Ashley Tisdale - Switch. (I'm liking this girl!!) Header: One of those girls... So last week I said that I was taking a break from so-lyts and wanted to find other things within that week. I guess you can say that I did. That is all I am saying on the matter, I don't want to jinx it :) On a different note, I went through all my affiliates and discovered some sites didn't have my link on their site. I haven't done a sweep in months so it was heavily over due! About twenty where deleted, from that I have learned to check them weekly, or monthly. I'll think about it later, but anyhow, thank you to the affies who actually kept me on theirs! New content up aswell folks, I have added 17 new layout styles! They all look good enough to eat I think! I hope you do too. Also, two new tutorials for Photoshop! Colour Effects (Style Two) and Classic Effect. I loved the outcome for both, so I had to make a tutorial on them so you guys can get a similar effect! I am going to either open a request blog or a suggestion blog very very soon! There is so many thing I would love to make but there is a high difference between making the things and people using them. I love making blends but now-a-days noone uses premade blends they either make there own or request a specific kind of one :) Kind of the same thing with premade showtime style signs. I made a couple of them and might add them onto the site soon!! I am going to start updating this site maybe once or twice a week, I used to spend hours on every day and would log off with just a few things complete so I am going to start making things during the week and then adding them the following week. So that more content ends up on so-lyts.com!

So, I have decided to go on a small break, for about a week. Some personal reasons which if you are close to me you'll probably already know. Don't worry it's nothing serious or anything like that, it's just a personal thought. I was listening to music last night, and it hit me all over again. I need to move on from whatever it is that is holding me back. I know what it is, well i think i do. It cannot control me anymore. Whatever it was, has gone and it can't hold me back anymore. Right? I don't know who I am trying to persuade more, you or myself! I was listening to that song this morning (youtube video above, play it?) and it struck all over again, if you have had the "striking" feeling you'll know exactly what I am writing about, if not... you probably either think I am amazingly weird or high. Which i am not, well weird a little haha, not high :) I will be back, perhaps Sunday. If my affies want to delete me, then delete me. It's okay. I'll just remove your link when i get back, its fine :) Things have went good in my life, somethings have went bad. But if i have to get over them, even if it means blocking them out and pretending. It's the only way to survive, isn't it? I thought once, "the meaning of life, is being yourself," if you can't be yourself, you can't expect everyone else to be themselves. I need to get back to being me, the girl who laughed at stupid things and fell over her feet, not the girl that hid and pretended to be okay when she wasn't. I'm going offline for a week or so, do all that "finding myself" stuff, see if it actually works. I'll miss you all, especially my besties on myspace and my amazing affies, you know who you all are. I sounds so cringey and over the top, but I am kind of scared... that's a good thing, right?

New layout! I was completely undecided with the older layout so just went for it. As you can see it features the gorgeous and majorly talented Jennifer Aniston! I am a huge fan of hers and have been since I started watching Friends about a zillion years ago!. The images are from a Red/Elle photoshoot she did in late 2009. I remember seeing and reading about the photos a little while back and while looking around for an actress/singer/model to use for a blend that would be my layout header I strolled across to www.anistoncenter.com, who have amazing photos of Jen, make sure you visit! I blended the photos together, used some photoshop curves, mixed in a gradient, masked in a pattern and sort of mashed it up! It took ages to make, mainly because I made about seven types of the blend pattern thingies (headers). After a lengthy think I chose this one, and I rather love it! Tomorrow I will be uploading more myspace layouts and some new tutorials so make sure you come back for them! So, erm... yes. Thanks for dropping by!

Oh gosh, I am tired! But yes, postive news I have made tons of new content. New layouts, new backgrounds and a new domain lyt! Also, I've made a new "owner info" about me thing, so some facts and things like that are in there. I am going to be super busy this week with bits and bobs so I will try my best to update and actually code tons of the layouts I have awaiting! Also, I am starting to accept applications for sub-domains again so if you would like one just hit me up on email/myspace or get a faster reply by filling out the form to the left just above "layouts". Also a final note on jocking. There has been a couple of sites who have jocked and stolen my content, you know who you are! Please do not take things that are not yours and pass them off as your own material. It is wrong and stupid and really really unfair. So please, if you are taking things do the decent thing and actually credit us @so-lyts.com for the work that has been put in, we'd expect to do it ourselves if we used your content! Oh well, I am over it! As already said if it happens again IP addresses will be blocked! On a positive note I got a new pair of shoes last week, and honestly they take your breath away they are that wowsome! So I have uploaded a new domain layout of the beautiful Hilary Duff, I'm going to be coding a couple more tonight so I will post them later! So to begin March I thought it would be a good thing to start planning and sticking to it, so i've done that. Well the planning part anyway! Hopefully at the end of this month I will be going to Birmingham, seeing an amazing girl for a couple of days and taking tons of 'kodak moments' and then when I return to my little town I'll be someone new. Perhaps with twenty piercings and six tattoo's. That Emma is a bad influence, so it's likely ;P I can't actually think what to write for once, so I might update this blog bit later on, perhaps! 25th Feb 2010; Header:Sugar Like Apple Pie. Listening too: Sugababes - About A Girl Mood: Happy. Woooo!, Well I have had a strange turn of the evils (no idea either) but I am feeling goooood! Yesterday was well odd, but I am hoping it was a one off. A bout of serious boredness I am guessing! So what cures boredness? doing something. So I haven't pretty much stopped all day. First thing, after I showered and got dressed I came online and made some new graphics then about an hour later I went out to visit my gran and had a pretty awesome day. Music Change; The Veronicas - Untouched. So yes, what was I saying? Yes, I had a good day. For me, cleaning is not fun, it is seriously not but cleaning with my gran is! I think after years of wondering; I have discovered where my "odd" brain has come from. I was always told I was like her, due to the fact that if someone falls over she is the first to cry with laughter just like I am. So, it is all adding up. We're (my mum and I) going to my gran's at the weekend and painting her kitchen, I have a feeling it's going to be a hoot! Anyway, enough of my randomness for the moment you're here for the content right? :) I have uploaded brand new layouts, including a new layout style so check it out! 24th Feb 2010; Header:Got up on the wrong side of life today. Listening too: Nothing Mood: Sigh. Oh boy!, Well today I have pretty much felt shit (excuse the language!). I don't know what's up but yeah I feel like crap. Every now and again I get moments when I want to just scream and then other times when I want to be left alone >.< but at the same time I want to do something and be "normal". Whatever the heck it is, I hope it passes, lol! Anyway, on a positive note I have made a new layout. I made a similar one about a month ago but a few friends where unsure about it so I left it and then last night I was listening to Marina and The Diamonds and thought that she would be a good image for a layout, so I searched and then spent a bit messing around with designs and brushes, and I can up with this *looks up*. So, I hope you all like it! I am going to be making more layouts tonight (myspace) and hopefully 2.0 layouts will be on the agenda! So if you have any thoughts or have thought of a nice idea for a layout (designs) then feel free to let me know (email or c-box) and I'll get back to you on it. So it's been two weeks. What has been happening? Well let me think, over the last two weeks I've got ill, fell over, comforted, laughed, cried, got divorced, got engaged, got married again and the important part for you guys; made some new content. I know you'll re-read the top and wonder if maybe I am high or drunk, but I did actually get divorced and then married again in the space of one hour. Yes, its true! Okay so it was soley based on facebook and our status updates, but my looney friend and I thought it was about time we just got divorced and re-married, it was valentine's day after all. The ill part sucked, I am sort of still ill. I think it's the cold or the flu but i am going to the doctor tomorrow, get checked out and all that! I fell numerous times, luckily not fully hurting myself although my toe is sore from falling up the stairs a few days ago. Latest fall was teletubbie style yesterday (if you have me on facebook you'll know all about it). I fell over a book/catalogue and me being me had my duvet wrapped around me, thus looking like a teletubbie and actually it was pink so kinda like Po. (google him, he's cute!) So, yeah i decked it. It was one of those times where you fall and you realise while on the floor that one; you need to hoover and two; this is rather hilarious, and then you begin to laugh because you can see what you look like, then you can't get up because your wrapped up like some bear in a tree. Oh well, so yes I had loads of those mishaps. Which happen always i just don't blog about them but i'm gonna start from...now!. I cried, with laughter mostly when any night I am sat talking to Emma (shout out!) she is the husband btw. Her conversations are random and whitful and i cannot help but cry with actual laughter when she starts gabbing! I would share some random conversations but some are not viewable from people over the age of erm....5 years old and only for those at "creche" bahaha :) So valentines day was yesterday, did anyone have/get a valentine? Hope you all had a fanta-bulous day!
On the lighter side I have made new content, woohoo! Including myspace layouts, which finally look good! I've binned my old stylesheet and come up with another. I loves it! Also check out everything that has a flashing "new" sign beside it, because, well it's new :) Off for now folks, but I must say... I am very glad to be back!
Hiatus/Vacation Break?!!?!!
January 30th 2010 I am unsure. I have never gone on hiatus before and never really planned too but just over the past few weeks things have crept onto me and I think I need time out to build on them. When I say "hiatus" I don't mean the possible actual word meaning. If I do, which is likely, I will be logging on to check emails and myspace but even though I will not be adding content I will be making truck loads "behind the set". I'm not one for sitting down and making hundreds upon hundreds of layouts in one night, something I would actually like to do I guess, so where can I start? Well, now. My two week hiatus/vacation week starts on Monday, Feb 1st 2010. If you would like to request something, please request it either today or tomorrow, I may (possibly) make you something if you request afterwards but I would rather not, so I can concentrate fully on my own content. As I said earlier, a few things have crept up over the past few weeks. These being simple little things, in to "life-changing" moments. To start off I decided to make a new myspace which I will link up later, and have concentrated on adding content there, then not so later on I purchased an account, a special one. Which allows me host out you guys, provide you with domains and reseller accounts (so you can host other people), everything about that will be done on the vacation break and when I return will update you all with the link to the website. For now though, I am just going to take a couple of days, breathe a little bit perhaps and then when monday arrives I'll spend most of my days "living" outside my current "box" (my house), I'll spend the boring parts making exciting content and I'll spend the tired parts asleep (something I hardly do till gone 4am!!). So everyone, i take it i'll be updating and speaking with most of you in two weeks. Until then I hope you all have a fantastic time whatever you're all doing and if anyone has birthdays or celebrations in those weeks, well then congratulations :) For now, see you all in about 14 days (13 sleeps). January 19th 2010 Sadly I have just found out that Ashley who ran "team pattinson" with Sara, a site of which i host, had passed away. It is truly sad and even though I didn't know her personally she did seem a lovely bubbly young girl. Rest in Peace Ashley.
So, it is the new year (happy new year people!)and time for fresh beginnings and fresh starts. Every blog I am passing shows updates with wars and hurricanes. It is a really really sad time and a shocking start to 2010, all we can do is hope. Over the past few weeks I haven't been so well, mostly with what I think is the cold. But it just won't go away! Hopefully it will wonder off soon, pack its bags and leave me alone :) I have updated small sections of the site including a new "F.A.Q". Feel free to email me or contact me on myspace/cbox if you have a question! And mainly, a new tutorial. Due to requests I have now uploaded a tutorial how to code your domain layout. Also, how to design your own layout too. Tomorrow I should be adding some new sitemodel rares and cut-outs so keep your eye out for them! I don't know what few of you have read my "owner info" but if you have you will know i ended on the note of "..and what's next? Well, im just going to have to wait and see" well now is the time. Well near-ish! I am thinking of purchasing a domain account where I can host many sites, subs and domains for a fee. Don't worry though if you are on this domain as a sub-domain i will be keeping this website for my content (which i will update as always). But yes, its just a thought. I had an amazing christmas and hope you all did too! I haven't updated in a few days and there is a reason! I am building up tons of content (including a possible new domain layout) and then I will add it all on. At the moment I am waiting on my dad returning home as my computer mouse is slowly breaking bit by bit. So when I get the mouse I should be making more content and loading you all up with it! Its official, Rihanna's new album is on repeat! My itunes is screaming at me "GET VARIETY" but im just ignoring it and blasting her songs perhaps a little too loud. But I can't be caring when music is this good! So, i decided time was short and I should be making content (and plenty of it!). As a result I have added 20 amazing brand new sitemodel rares which I will constantly update over the next couple of days as i have more coming in. Also i have updated the gradient section, it was looking odd and rather messy so I have added some filters and boxes in their to make it look more neat! I am also "learning" about some new layouts for myspace aswell as twitter so when I get those made they will be added - no doubt straight away. But for now, I shall sign off this blogging and listen to some more RatedR at full blast, until "the wait it over" anyway! Nicole x

Hey, well the past few days have been rather blah so i thought id make a new layout, see if it helped and because i had to concentrate it took my thoughts elsewhere. Which can only be a good thing, right? So, i also made some new icons which ill upload onto my photobucket and then onto here sometime this week. I hate adding little amounts of content, so i'll wait a couple of days so i can add loads at once. So, i am very possibly going to open a website store. I'll sell some things like things anyone can use for their site. Basically requests like domain layouts and sign requests plus loads of other things. I'm not sure whether to have a co-owner for this store, so if you would be interested in becoming co-owner to the store then you can leave me a comment in the c-box or email me at; admin@so-lyts.com. Next on the line, is this video. I have had it saved in my "favourites" for so long, i was going through them all seeing what to keep and i found it. New Content, New Life? - 18th November 2009
Well, i havent blogged in so long, since Nov. 5th to be exact. I have made the odd piece of odd content and not been able to upload them as i dont want to be adding little bits here and there, i would prefer to add a truck load at once. But after a couple of weeks waiting i thought i would make some new content and just put it on :) So we have two new content blocks, including GRADIENTS and brand new PREMADE SIGNS. Now these premade signs are made completely and utterly (just like everything else on this site) by so-lyts.com. I worked so hard on them, so please, please keep the credit on. I know that some sites use the premades and say in the boxes that "I was given it as a present by so-lyts.com" Personally i dont care what you say, if you want to put that, i am still smiling. Any sort of credit to us, when using our content is perfect. I've also noticed some roleplay myspaces using our content to vibe up their page, which is fantastic :) So please do continue to use all our content, we love it when you all do! So a little part of sad news, my nana passed away a couple of days ago, its been hard but we'll all get through it, its what we do :D So im studying (that's a fib) and re-reading Twilight, and then going to see New Moon on Saturday, yes incase you didn't know i am a "Twilighter" haha. I am obsessed with it, but not.. ott obsessed. I don't own any merchandise other than the dvd, and all the books. Aswell as many of the magazines the cast are in, but i dont have any posters or anything (mainly because i have a small, very small dislike of posters - what ?!?! i feel like im being watched!!!) Anyway, so yes ill be going to see that on Saturday because when we booked there was none left for Friday, so Saturday it was. So i'll no doubt be blogging about that during the weekend. And making some new content, perhaps a new domain layout. This one is no longer exciting for me, as it was when i first made it. EXAMS, EXAMS...EXAMS!! - 28TH OCTOBER 2009
Hey everyone, okay so as i am sure many people have noticed the lack of updates i have done over the last few days. Basically i just found out (yes, just) that i have an exam next week for my Pyschology paper. If i don't do it, i will fail part of the exam/course, if i don't study for it "aka fail" then i will fail the paper and have to re-sit it, and i want to avoid going through the stress twice! As im sure, many of you understand exactly what im going through, whether you currently are or have done. So, i am going to try to update as soon as i can, but at the moment college is the priority as its the future!! Although, this site is my future too, i know that i can pop on and update i cant exactly pop into university and take a class...when i dont have the grades LOL. Hmm, okay way to much thinking! Im going to go now, get some sleep and wake up to start a fresh morning of studying and visiting my gran in the afternoon. Oh stress, stress, stress. Please everyone, wish me luck! Love Nicole x
FREE HOUR? - 25TH OCTOBER 2009
So, what did you do with your "free/non-existent" hour? Yes, thats right. The clocks where turned back an hour around thirty minutes ago! Instead of 3.30am its now 2.30am. What did you do? I've never done anything to "celebrate" it but i spent it..reading a book. Yes, people hold onto your chairs with excitement haha. No, but seriously, i spent it reading a book, my favourite book and it all went well round at my house.
I havent blogged in a few days and havent really updated, although i did make a couple of new layouts AND a new section; backgrounds which you can use for your signs or layouts, ill be adding truck loads more this week i just thought id add a couple of them tonight since i had a couple made and ready. I spent last night/aka tonight watching Most Haunted with my dad, which was actually really good. Nothing "amazing" happened, but it is the first of eight nights, so bring on the other seven! Ill be updating loads through-out next week, new style layouts included! I also have a few website layouts made, i made them a couple of months ago, i just havent got round/kept forgetting to code and upload them! But i will be doing that mostly all next week. MORE TUTORIALS AND...- 20TH OCTOBER 2009

Oh gosh its all been a little manic. Basically last night after giving my first ever sub-domain out (shout out to Team Pattinson - go visit their page, its amazing) my website sort of went down. When i say down, i mean i couldnt log into my cpanel, see webpage and couldnt even see my hosts site to contact them but i remembered their email and got in touch, and it turned out to be something to do with firewall and my ip, but long story-short its fixed, thanks to my amazing host.Onto a brighter note i added more tutorials, those being "Using Brushes" and "Find Your Friend ID". I also made a tutorial on how to use colour palettes but i ended up saving over that with something else by mistake, which is extremely annoying but i will make another one tomorrow. Well back to the stick, yes we all know its massive but i think today i might have cut a little of it away. If i keep chipping at it, it will go. Its just chipping at it is gonna damage my nails....
NEW TUTORIALS - 18TH OCTOBER 2009
So its my second blog so far. Its been nearly 3 days since my last one and i have been rather busy. I have made some new tutorials! Including many new effects; "Stitch Your Mouth" is particularly cool, i really enjoyed making that tutorial as it looks really good. Another one of my favourites is "Get Vampire Teeth", it was so much fun learning to do that and the end result looks amazing! Another two tutorials were made, they were "Change Eye Colour" and "Make a Gradient". I hope they all help you with your tutorial dilemmas! This weekend has been rather mixed, arguments-dilemmas followed by good times out with my mum, followed by yum food. I have a couple of ideas for some new layouts, which ill be making tomorrow and perhaps tuesday too. They will be up as soon as i have completed them! Im having my own "dilemmas" at the moment, which are annoying yet i know i need to face them and step over that stick to get over them completely. Its just at the moment the stick is rather huge, i need to cut it down a bit :)
OPENING SITE - 16TH OCTOBER 2009
So, my first blog as owner of so-lyts.com what should i write? Well i know just screaming with excitement wouldn't do well as noone can hear the screams. But seriously, i have let a small scream pop out with excitement. I am so happy to have this domain, especially with amazing hosting. Some of you may have noticed that we are now called "so-lyts.com" instead of our "SoOrganic" but let me assure you we are still soorganic, its just for the domain address that i wanted something short and sweet and since the "s" is from So and the "o" is from Organic, i do think its appropriate haha. So what can you expect from the new site? Well just like through our old sub-domain (provided by lytsplus.com) we will continue to provide everything you need for your myspace/social networking needs, as well as your own websites. New codes are always added, aswell as our new picture caption packs. But one thing we now have which we didn't before is the ability to host. We will start providing sub-domains in the next couple of days, so if you are interested pop us an email *through contact us link* or message us through our myspace or, yes there is one more option! You can always leave us a tweet, saying you would like a sub-domain and we'll tweet you back :) Another thing is we used to update everynow and again on our old sub but i will make a deal with myself that i will update at least weekly with some colourful new content. Oh and also, if you are new to SoOrganic and dont have a clue who i am or what i do, you can read all about myself and the site under "owner info". Well i best be off, i have got loads of content to make after all.
